Industrial air hose description
From the perspective of production technique, DeepSee’s air hoses can be divided into two types, mandrel hose and braided hose. They are both vulcanized rubber air hoses and support air transfer. The only difference lies in their reinforcement. The former is winding polyester sheet plus optional steel wire, while the latter is braided synthetic fabric.
If you need high pressure ratings, both suction and discharge function, and large diameter, our mandrel air hose with spiral steel wire is a perfect choice. For low to medium pressure air delivery, when inner diameter<1 inch, braided air hose is most commonly picked. No suction needs, I.D. exceeds 19mm, requires a little more strength than braided hoses, air rubber hose with wrapping synthetic cord reinforcement is your go-to hose.
DeepSee® Air Hose is available in different long continuous lengths: 60m/200ft (mandrel hose), 100m/330ft (10mm<braided hose I.D.≤25mm), any length you want (braided hose I.D.≤10mm). We can also cut hoses into specified lengths according to your demand. Multiple length options allow air rubber hoses to reach almost anywhere without regard to distance.
Despite sizes and lengths, every DeepSee air hose shares the same rubber material, which withstands mechanical and environmental stress, on cover and inner layer. They are made of premium-grade NR and SBR compound. The cover is matte and has a cloth-like texture. It resists ozone, weather, sunlight, and abrasion. We can make the hose exterior into almost any color you want. It can be manufacture into a corrugated surface if needed (only for suction hose). The smooth inner wall contributes to seamless, efficient air flow in pneumatic tasks. The intermediate reinforcement provides high strength for the hose and prevents kink and length deformation. It gives air hoses 10 to 40 bar (150-600 psi) working pressure with 30 to 120 bar burst protection. 3:1 safety factor enhances the safety of both hose users and associated devices.
Besides pressure, DeepSee rubber air hoses perfectly handle hot and cold weathers in extreme environments as well. They remain functional, strong, and flexible at low temperatures up to -4℉ and high temperatures up to 176℉. Its excellent adaptability to different working conditions makes it suitable for a variety of fields, such as construction, building, automotive, mining, quarrying, agriculture, manufacturing, etc. Our air hoses provide enough strength and elasticity for you to run all kinds of air tools. They are engineered for compressed air handling and heavy-duty pneumatic applications.
Here are common air hose sizes and pressures. If the specification you need is not included, please contact us for customization. We can make far more than below.
Braided air hose I.D. 6-25mm (for delivery only)
Mandrel air hose I.D. 19-203mm (suction available)
Working pressure for both: 150-600 psi
